Four wires Four terminals SOURCE 1 Red to White 28 ohms ±20% SOURCE 2 Yellow to Yellow 0.4 ohms ±20% Before installing your new stator

Check the AC output of the stator.
Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator/rectifier
Check and repair any melted wiring.
Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors

Wire RED wire from RM stator to original BLACK/RED. Wire White wire to original White/Red on stator. The two yellow wires for the RM stator are provided for late model RM's that require a power valve supply. If your bike does not have these two wires you have two options. 1. Simply cut the wires and insulate them for they cannot short out. 2. Use it for a low wattage light. To do this you must route the two yellow wires through the stator harness. This stator is designed as a direct plug-in replacement and should be used as such. When bolting stator in, always use locking compound. If our stator includes a pickup coil, always make sure the air gap is correct. We suggest as close as possible no less than 0.010’’.
